1. I actually originally had no plan for a game of dodgeball.

Then it occurred to me it was an opportunity to try out a joke I really like from M.A.S.H. where two of them were boasting about how awesome they were at Bridge, challenged each other, grabbed a partner and spent so much time in the game bickering and trying to hog all the glory that their teammates switched teams and floored them.

The reason I wanted to try it was because I couldn't figure out what made it so good to me.

So in attempting to deliver the joke here I realized what made it so good. There was a level of Satisfaction in seeing the two nobody teammates whup them after all that boasting they were doing about how awesome they were.

Which requires a lot of appropriate build-up.

Which is something as it turns out I could not deliver here, so this scene fails, but I learned something. And that makes it a personal success.

3. Not funny but I think its clever.

5. I have no idea how I screwed him up so badly in this panel and not notice it until the coloring. I get him good every time after this including the next page, But here I just dropped the freaking ball.

7. I was reluctant about having Princess right after I just did a Princess episode.
